Overview

Enterprise Holdings is excited to announce the opening of Payroll Coordinator based at our group headquarters in Coconut Creek, Florida.  The Payroll Coordinator will serve as liaison between Human Resources, Business Management, employees, and Payroll Shared Services.   The coordinator will organize and oversee payroll and workbrain processes and provide communication and reporting for the team.  This position will perform a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for hourly, salaried, full-time and part-time employees.

 

This is a full time position (Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00 pm) and is located at 5105 Johnson Road Coconut Creek, FL 33073.  The position pays $17.50 per hour.

 

Responsibilities

  • Process and balance payrolls using established processes and procedures, including analyzing and correcting errors
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of employee information including employee payroll changes, deductions and additional entry of miscellaneous payroll information
  • Meet payroll and accounting deadlines
  • Set up and process garnishments, tax levies and wage assignments as appropriate
  • Assist in the research and resolution of outstanding items on payroll schedules
  • Answer routine payroll and payroll tax related questions from employees
  • Prepare and upload payroll journal entries
  • Assist in the completion of ad hoc requests and special projects
  • Maintain monthly payroll schedules for the team and assist in other month end processing
  • Audit and verify results on interfaces into ProBusiness payroll system
  • Assist in the research and resolution of outstanding items on Payroll schedules to reconcile/balance to the GL
  • Research previous payroll data and makes necessary adjustments to maintain the accuracy of records, conferring with other departments, as necessary
  • Run reporting, auditing and acting as group support of Workbrain Time/Attendance System
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of payroll experience
  • Must have an intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must not have any DUI/DWI or other drug or alcohol related convictions on your driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must have no more than 2 moving violations on your driving record in the past 3 years
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
