Car Sales Certification Inspector

Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Referral Car Sales Department has an immediate opening for a Car Sales Certification Inspector.  The Certification Inspector will assist with vehicle branding, cleaning and identifying reconditioning needs at dealership lots and direct the Car Sales driver team for the location.  They will also have the primary responsibility for taking digital photos and entering photos and features for reconditioning cars using the company platform, programing keys and remotes, as well as ordering owner’s manuals.

    • Conduct a Quality Assurance review of vehicle after reconditioning in completed
    • Ensure reconditioning vehicles have 2 keys (Program remotes and keys whenever possible, or order as needed)
    • Ensure reconditioning vehicles have a current Owner’s Manual (order as needed)
    • Take digital pictures of certified vehicles for uploading to the Car Sales Internet using the company platform
    • Identify and enter the vehicle features and attributes into the company platform
    • Print vehicle materials – FTC’s, Price Stickers, Feature sheets as needed
    • Install branding materials as needed
    • Inspect vehicle quality and cleanliness while on dealership lots
    • Replace missing trim parts to maintain vehicle appearance
    • Perform car detail/cleaning and touch up as needed
    • Coordinate outside vendors for repairs with Certification Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinators
    • Move vehicles to ensure lot remains organized for efficiency or off lot for reconditioning
    • Coordinate movement with drivers daily
    • Walk dealership lots and pick up any debris
    • Exhibit a professional appearance and comply with all uniform and PPE requirements
    • Adhere to local environmental regulations
    • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
    • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
    • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED
  • Basic PC skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel) required
  • Must be able to use a digital camera and upload pictures and features into a CDM tablet/machine
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid Drivers license with satisfactory driving record
  • Apart from religious observation, must be able to work 8 hours per day Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm and an occasional Saturday

Additional skills/competencies preferred:

    • Must be able to operate a variety of vehicles
    • General vehicle maintenance and detailing
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs and ability to learn appropriate software programs
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Comfortable working independently or in a team
    • Knowledge and understanding of company’s principles, policies, procedures and standards
    • Sense of initiative
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment
