An integral part of the ongoing success of our company is the DRU.  When damage occurs to our company property - primarily our rental vehicles - the Damage Recovery Unit works to recover costs for those damages. Support Clerks perform general administrative and clerical duties to include processing all incoming mail and updating claim files accordingly. The Damage Recovery Unit is made up of 5 positions that work together in a professional office environment. Claim files are handled with specialized functions, like the Support Clerk, flowing from one person to the next for completion.

This position is full time and pays $11.90/hr. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm to allow for flexibility in scheduling options. 


  • Enter new data and update electronic claim files from incoming correspondence
  • Perform basic office functions such as copying and faxing
  • Research incoming mail received without claim file numbers
  • Gather and evaluate police reports, repair estimates and other related documents
  • Research new addresses
  • Send paperwork to the appropriate parties
  • All received correspondence should be processed within 48 hours
  • Effectively communicates with individuals related to a claim file
  • Make appropriate internal and external contacts to obtain necessary information
  • Review all information provided to assure accuracy
  • Other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Some college courses preferred
  • One year of continuous work experience at the same employer is required
  • Must be willing to accept $11.90/hour for this position
  • Customer service experience via phone or email preferred
  • At least basic/beginner skill level in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel) is required
  • Must be able to work full-time
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must currently live in the Gainesville/North Central Florida metropolitan area
