Business Analyst - Airport Business Development

The Business Analyst is responsible for solving business problems through data research and system/tool development.  This position will analyze needs, create and deliver new rental reports for our rental operations world-wide. Under general supervision, this position will gather, interpret and document reporting requirements/requests and develop moderately complex to complex queries/SQL statements to produce report results. The Business Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for their area of focus, providing the groups insight in key business metrics to identify areas of continued opportunity.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.


  • Analyze and evaluate business problems/issues; determine data needs and most effective reporting methods; make recommendations based on reporting results
  • Explain reporting metrics to field operations; recommend methods to improve performance
  • Analyze reporting trends and develop self-service tools to assist the Groups
  • Gather, interpret, document and create moderately complex to complex reports and report requirements
  • Determine data requirements and identify data availability
  • Analyze needs; develop and support ad-hoc reports using a variety of tools and techniques, including SQL
  • Provide intermediate support, implementation planning, communication and execution on reporting application rollouts
  • Identify irregularities and/ or areas for opportunity when reviewing reporting results. Share findings with business partners as appropriate
  • Evaluate opportunities to refine existing reporting to align with current technology capabilities and business imperatives
  • Collaborate with internal customers to ensure that new reporting requests best helps to solve for the business problem at hand. Recommend alternatives as necessary
  • Identify possible solutions and facilitate team discussions regarding the feasibility of multiple options
  • Manage multiple requests of various sizes
  • Analyze moderately complex functional system issues and defects; conduct research and develop documentation relating to root cause, financial and service level impact
  • Ensure compliance with systems methodologies, standards, procedures and business practices

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be authorized to work in the US and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Two (2+) or more years of IT systems or business analysis experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft office suite with specific emphasis on Excel



  • Microsoft Visualization Tools (i.e. Visual Studio/SSRS/BIDS, PowerBI) experience
  • SAS Enterprise Guide experience
  • Knowledge of Rental Systems (Odyssey, ECARS, TSD Rental, etc)
