ABOUT THE ROLE

The Corporate Travel Specialist is responsible for the administration and management of the travel program for Enterprise Holdings business travel.  This position handles the policy and contract management, training and communication, contracts, and reporting for business related travel for Enterprise Holdings.  This position works closely with travel partners and vendors (including airlines and parking providers) to ensure an exemplary traveler experience.  This role negotiates contract terms, discounts travel perks, and price adjustments with various travel partners to ensure competitive travel costs for the organization, and an exemplary travel experience for the business traveler.  The Travel Specialist develops and maintains strong relationships with business partners at all levels, acting as a resource to help travelers navigate the travel policy and their travel options. The position also must constantly look to improve processes and policies to meet evolving needs of the business. In addition to a focus on the traveler, this role also manages the reporting and data required to support risk, security, audit, and spend management guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with various travel vendors including airline partners, travel management company (CWT) and online booking tool (Deem); partner with vendors to implement system updates and mobile app roll-out, research security concerns, and resolve issues with guest bookings and CWT agent assisted tickets
  • Monitor team mailbox daily to answer questions, assist business travelers and travel arrangers with accessing the travel management platform, and resolve booking or payment issues with field and corporate travelers
  • Onboard new travel arrangers with online booking tools
  • Monitor changes in the travel booking and arranging process each quarter and update job aids accordingly
  • Design and deliver quarterly training webinars for travel booking and arranging process
  • Draft and distribute business travel newsletter to frequent travelers and arrangers
  • Update internal sites with travel booking processes, job aids, webinar links, partnership perks, policies, and resources
  • Conduct bi-annual review of EH spend, airline improvements, new routes, Airlines
  • Review, negotiate and amend discount terms and perks with airlines
  • Review, negotiate and amend services with online booking tool (CWT) including pricing, and SLA levels
  • Review and negotiate domestic parking discounts Parking Spot and Wally Park
  • Build and present monthly global reporting focused on spend, #of tickets and booking by GPBRs shared with leadership
  • Bi-annual reporting by corporate department to validate frequent travelers and distribute airline status upgrades
  • Facilitate annual meetings with SVPs and COO to review company/regional spend, trip purposes and recommend cost avoidance or saving opportunities
  • Generate ad hoc reports for lines of business and/or department heads (e.g. HR related employee travel records, average ticket price YOY for cost control, etc.)
  • Stay abreast of North American COVID guidance from the State department, CDC and WHO and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as necessary

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have 5 years of Corporate travel management experience working with TMC’s, Airlines, and Hotels including contract negotiations
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
