Enterprise Holdings has an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist on our Human Resources Corporate Team.  This individual will share responsibility for providing HR support to 1500+ employees who work as part of the Corporate Headquarters team, which includes remote, virtual, hybrid and on-site employees all over the globe!   This is an excellent chance to grow your HR career with the opportunity to work directly with Senior Management and a wide variety of HR experts (Benefits, Legal, HRIS and Immigration, etc.).  Our ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization.


This position will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO.

  • Serve as a HR business partner to various department managers
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert regarding payroll, benefits, policies, guidelines, etc.
  • Interpret and apply federal/state employment laws as well as company policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance to managers regarding the right course of action to take to limit exposure and increase employee engagement
  • Facilitate training for employees at all levels such as Review Writing, Performance Management, Legal Updates and Discrimination and Harassment Prevention training
  • Partner with the Compensation team on the creation of new job descriptions
  • Develop and execute project plans for various HR initiatives
  • Identify trends and propose solutions to problems
  • Manage simple to moderate employee situations and investigations
  • Manage FMLA leaves
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends
  • Analyze HR Metrics and report to management
  • Ensure consistency of our processes and guidelines across all groups

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role (ex. HR Business Partner)
  • Previous support as an HR business partner to various department managers
  • Previous experience analyzing HR Metrics and report to management
  • Previous experience analyzing and applying federal/state employment laws as well as company policies and procedures
  • Intermediate level proficiency or above with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
  • Experience working with Workday is preferred
